We are gearing up for Minot 2. There are a lot of displaced people who want to get into their homes, and we are going to help them.
The dates are April 15-21st. I'm asking $200/person.
I have been told that we will be doing reconstruction as opposed to deconstruction.
I signed us up for 15 slots. I currently have about 10 of them still open. :-)
If you want to go, please let me know and we'll get you the info. There will be two planning/team meetings. Dates and location are still tentative for that meeting.
As always, if you want to go and money is the barrier to you going, talk to me about it and we will figure out a way to work it out.
Ways to support us if you want to be involved but can't go-
1- They are still asking for quilt donations.
2- Pray for us.
3- Read our emails and look at our pictures while we are on the road
4- Donate money- read on...
I'm working recruiting "The Nifty Fifty"
The Nifty Fifty are fifty people that will donate $100 towards this trip.
People in the Nifty Fifty Club will get:
a picture book of our trip,
an opportunity to "skype" in (Google video chat,actually) to our devotions while on the road,
something special to be determined at our thank you dinner
will learn the secret handshake. (That's a joke. We don't have a secret handshake. Yet.)
